Artist's Comments

I went for a walk in the prairie but didn't find much I felt like photographing. Feeling disapointed I headed home, but when I turned on my ipod the Blower's Daughter came on and I felt so moved by the music, the setting sun, and the beautiful calm that I found in looking at the dead Queen Ann's Lace flowers that I found myself shooting away while enjoying the strength, intensity and yet delicate shape against the orange sky. It really complemented the mood I was feeling during that time.
