Well I've finally decided to put myself out there and join the world of the brave. I love taking pictures. I love the serentity it brings me when I just take off with camera and spend a few hours alone taking in the world around me. I used to go out and have something to shoot in mind but I soon realized I had a pattern of getting side tracked with the small, often not noticed, details of whatever I went out to photograph. I like them. To me it brings a sort of peace in me to see something ordinary have a light of its own in my pictures. But since most people just wonder why I would bother taking pictures of the cracks in the road I often shy away from letting anyone see what I like to do. I realized last night...after some personally emotional stuff...that I need to be brave and share my pictures. I need to know that failing is okay and what truly matters is that I grow from what I do. I love so many pictures I've seen on this site and I'm just glad to have a place to put myself out there without having to meet someones standards of what is good. Thanks deviantART!
